The Silk Road
I believe the Silk Road and other related trade routes, were the first information highways of their day. They provided a platform for the exchange of goods as well as ideas about science, religion, philosophy, and medicine, which enhanced a dialogue between peoples and furthered civilization. I worked with this theme from 2000 to 2021.
I am grateful for the privilege to have traveled, studied and visited many countries fueled by my growing Silk Road passion. On this quest I have visited the following: Bahrain, Oman, India (Rajasthan, Delhi, Kerala and Goa), Pakistan, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Cambodia, China (Xien ancient capital and starting point of the Silk Road), Korea, Japan (the eastern terminus of the Silk Road by sea), Syria, Turkey, Italy (Venice, which some feel is the western terminus of the Silk Road). Please view and enjoy the works.
