"When China Ruled the Seas,The Treasure Fleet of the Dragon Throne 1405-1433.The book informed this work of art. Giant ships sailed out of China to trade with other powers of the time. These ships were enormous (339' x 138') and carried some 28,000 men. Porcelain trade from these jumbo ships was extensive. The other items pictures here are weapons. The Chinese invented gun powder as well.
