“Matisse On Steroids”
There are three different parts to the series: “Spotty Dottie Snakie Doodles”, “Twiney Arabesques and Crustacea Acrobati” These are small 9”x 12” Gouache (opaque watercolor) paintings on 140 lb.,100% cotton paper with a smooth surface. The idea of these very energized images came to me in a surprising and spontaneous download from the universe. In each are opaque forms which are figurative elements with dashes dancing around them.
