Performance and Installation
This was a Wall Installation for the Whitney Biennial. It was called “Kryptos” and looks to me like Islamic calligraphy. It came to me first in the form of a dream. I feel now, that it foreshadowed my future. In 2000 I went to Qatar an Islamic country to teach at Virginia Commonwealth University Qatar. I stayed for twelve years.
